Our Story

My name is  Jamal Quincy Jones Jr. In July of 2022, I embarked on a journey fueled by my passion for web development and entrepreneurship, laying the foundation for my very own company. The spark of curiosity that ignited this venture traces back to my high school days when my father introduced me to a Udemy course on web development. Although I didn’t complete the course, it set the stage for a relentless pursuit of knowledge that persisted even after graduation.

Post-high school, armed with newfound skills and determination, I took the leap and created my first website. The project, americanspiceking.com, showcased the vibrant world of spicy foods through the lens of various influencers. Despite the impressive accomplishment, the site remains unpublished, primarily due to concerns surrounding copyright laws and its name’s similarity to a prominent food influencer.

Encouraged by my father’s belief in my capabilities, I decided to elevate my aspirations beyond an individual project. This pivotal moment led to the inception of my web development company, a venture that demanded rigorous mental, financial, and business training. Preparing for the responsibilities of business ownership became paramount.

The initial week of establishing my company involved a whirlwind of activities. I navigated the intricacies of hosting by creating a server on Hostgator, crafted a professional online presence through the company website, designed business cards and credit cards, and took the official step of registering the company with the government through SCC.gov.

Now, as my company celebrates its second anniversary, I reflect on the growth and challenges encountered on this entrepreneurial odyssey. With unwavering determination, I aspire to see my company thrive for years to come, a testament to the dedication invested in its inception and the continued pursuit of excellence in the ever-evolving landscape of web development and business ownership.
